- In response to NASCAR's announcement about Kyle Busch Monday (see below), Matt DiBenedetto sent a pointed remark that came out as against the sensitivity training. He has since de-activated his Twitter page.

| | Entry List: 2021 NASCAR Cup Series Championship Race
For Sunday's final Cup race of 2021, there are 39 teams entered. The only change on the entry list is the addition of MBM Motorsports' No. 13 for David Starr.

| | NASCAR Requiring Kyle Busch to Complete Sensitivity Training
NASCAR issued an edict to Kyle Busch Monday following Sunday's Xfinity 500. Prior to the start of the 2022 season, he must complete sensitivity training following the use of an inappropriate term towards those with mental
disabilities in a post-race media bullpen session.

Alpha Prime Racing announced Monday that Andy Lally will drive the No. 44 Chevrolet in a number of the road races in the Xfinity Series in 2022.

For Saturday's season-ending race for the Xfinity Series, there are 42 teams entered. John Hunter Nemechek returns to the Gibbs No. 54, while Sheldon Creed makes a guest appearance with BJ McLeod Motorsports. Dylan
Lupton and Sage Karam also return for more action.

For Friday night's Camping World Truck Series race at Phoenix Raceway, there are 41 trucks entered with only 36 spots available. Ty Dillon has joined Bret Holmes Racing for the weekend, while Grant Enfinger moves back to
the CR7 Motorsports No. 9. Dean Thompson will attempt to make his Truck debut in Niece Motorsports' No. 44.
