What to Watch: Nov. 29-Dec. 5
|
- There is a fair amount of motorsports action this week. Formula 1 will make their first-ever trip to Jeddah for the Grand Prix of Saudi Arabia. Formula 2 will be there on the undercard as well. A full three days of on-track activity from the likely not quite completed venue begins Friday.
- In NASCAR, it is Champion's Week
in Nashville. There are three days of activities on tap. Burnouts on Broadway will be televised via tape delay Saturday at 6 p.m. on NBCSN. The NASCAR Awards show will be Thursday night, but it will be televised Saturday night at 7 p.m.
- In Australia, this is one of the
biggest race weekends of the year as the Repco Supercars Championship descends upon Bathurst for the Repco Bathurst 1000. It is now a six-day race weekend with 10 different series competing. Due to the 16-hour time difference between Bathurst and the Eastern Time Zone in North America, the first practices of the weekend actually start this afternoon. Repco Supercars Championship teams aren't scheduled to practice until Wednesday evening. The 1000-kilometer classic is
scheduled to go green at 8:15 p.m. ET Saturday night. It will be streamed live via Supercars' V8SuperView and MotorTrendOnDemand.com. We'll have news for you as it breaks at Frontstretch.
