The NASCAR Hall of Fame announced the Class of 2023 nominees Monday afternoon. In addition to a number of returning people, the list includes AJ Foyt, Matt Kenseth, Sam Ard and Tim Brewer.

Truex replaces John Hunter Nemechek with Joe Gibbs Racing, while Howie DiSavino III moves over to the Alpha Prime No. 44.

Early Monday morning, Reaume Brothers Racing announced that late model stock racer Blake Lothian will attempt to make his NASCAR Camping World Truck Series debut Thursday in the team's No. 43.
