What to Watch: Wednesday

- NASCAR is holding a closed test session today at Bristol Motor Speedway. Stewart Friesen will put a Next Gen car through the wringer on the high-banked temporary dirt oval to test dirt-specific pieces that will be on the Next Gen cars for the Food City Dirt Race. The conditions for today's test at BMS are very good with partly cloudy skies and a forecasted high of 80 degrees.

- NASCAR teams are continuing to prepare for this weekend's tripleheader at Martinsville Speedway. NASCAR Camping World Truck Series teams that race tomorrow will likely make the trip to Southern Virginia tonight so that they can be there and in position to load-in bright and early tomorrow morning. If anything of note breaks today, we'll have it for you at Frontstretch.

Around the World in Motorsports: April 5

- RFK Racing announced Tuesday that Solomon Plumbing will serve as the primary sponsor of Brad Keselowski's No. 6 Ford at the Food City Dirt Race in Bristol. The sponsorship will be a one-race deal.

- Front Row Motorsports announced Tuesday that they will debut a new primary sponsor Saturday night on Todd Gilliland's No. 38 Ford. Cross Country Adjusting, a company that provides insurance claim services, will be on the car this weekend. For now, this appears to be a one-race deal.

- Spire Motorsports announced Tuesday that William Byron will drive the team's No. 7 Chevrolet in Thursday night's NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Blue-Emu Maximum Pain Relief 200 at Martinsville Speedway. Byron replaces teammate Alex Bowman, who drove for the team at Circuit of the Americas and fills in a slot that was marked as a TBA on the official entry list.

- Motor Racing Outreach announced Tuesday that the Better Half Dash will be back once again this year ahead of the All-Star Race. The event will once again be an iRacing event that will feature 12 "better halves" racing others in Legends cars on Texas Motor Speedway's quarter-mile. The event will be broadcast live during NASCAR RaceHub on FOX Sports 1 May 19. The participants in the race will be revealed Thursday.

Harrison Burton to Make Truck Series Return at Bristol Dirt with DGR

David Gilliland Racing announced Tuesday that Harrison Burton will drive the team's No. 17 Ford in the upcoming Pinty's Truck Race on Dirt at Bristol Motor Speedway.

2 Kaulig Xfinity Teams Fined for Lug Nut Infractions

After Saturday's ToyotaCare 250 at Richmond Raceway, the Kaulig Racing entries for Landon Cassill and AJ Allmendinger were each found to have one loose lug nut. As a result, both crew chiefs (Bruce Schlicker and Jason Trinchere, respectively), have been fined $5000.
