- The NTT IndyCar Series begins a two-day open test session today at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway ahead of next month's Indianapolis 500. Time will be dedicated today to drivers doing Rookie Orientation, in addition to regular testing. The testing will start at 11 a.m. and will be streamed live on
Peacock.

Around the World in Motorsports: April 19

- Paretta Autosport announced Tuesday that they will return to the NTT IndyCar Series for a three-race schedule this season. The team will run in association with Ed Carpenter Racing. Simona de Silvestro will return to the No. 16 for these races with sponsorship from KiwiCo, a company that sells playsets designed around STEM education, both in loose fashion and in
subscription packs. The team will not compete in next month's Indianapolis 500, but plans to start their season at Road America.

| | Stefan Parsons Reduced to Part-Time Xfinity Schedule for
McLeod
BJ McLeod Motorsports announced Tuesday that they will cut back to two full-time cars in the Xfinity Series, effective immediately. Stefan Parsons will stay with the team, but
only race in selected events for the rest of the year.

For Saturday's 200-mile ARCA Menards Series race at Talladega Superspeedway, there are 34 teams entered. Drew Dollar, who won at Talladega in 2020, is back with Joe Gibbs Racing. New York pro stock
racer Sean Corr returns in a family-owned car as well.
