- FOX Sports announced Thursday that Jamie Little will make her NASCAR Camping World Truck Series debut as a play-by-play commentator on Saturday night's broadcast of the CleanHarbors 150. In addition, Heather DeBeaux will be part of FOX
Sports 1's broadcast as a pit reporter.
- Formula 1 announced Wednesday that a new contract extension has been signed that will see the World Championship continue to
race at Albert Park in Melbourne, Australia through 2035. In addition, the parkland venue will also have Formula 2 and Formula 3 races starting next year.
The Australian Grand Prix weekend is already one of the most crowded on the World Championship schedule with a suite of domestic series on the schedule. That has typically been headlined by multiple Repco Supercars Championship races, this year known as the Beaurepaires Melbourne 400. Traditionally, they were exhibition events, but have
been points races in recent years.
Even with separate permanent garage space, it is unclear what the addition of FIA support series to the Australian Grand Prix weekend will do to the existing lineup, which also included the Australian S5000 Championship and Porsche Carrera Cup Australia in addition to the Repco Supercars Championship. To this point, no statements have been made from Supercars
about Melbourne's status on their schedule for 2023.
