- The Super DIRTcar Series starts their SummerFAST week of racing with a stop at Brewerton Speedway a few miles north of Syracuse, N.Y. The action will be streamed starting at 5:45 p.m. ET on DirtVision (subscription required). - Tonight, the NASCAR Pinty's Series will make their first appearance on dirt at Ontario's Oshweken Speedway for the Pinty's 100. - Monday night saw the Super DIRTcar Series make the haul to Weedsport, N.Y. for the rescheduled Hall of Fame 100. There, Baldwinsville, N.Y.'s Jimmy Phelps took the lead on lap 8 and managed to fight off Matt
Sheppard on multiple occasions to take his first Super DIRTcar Series win in almost three years. Mike Mahaney was second, then Sheppard, Dave Marcuccilli and Chris Hile. Points-wise, Sheppard has a 68-point lead over Anthony Perrego on the strength of three wins. Mat Williamson is third in points, then Max McLaughlin and
Phelps. |
