- In the first-ever dirt race for the NASCAR Pinty's Series at Oswehken Speedway Tuesday night, Treyten Lapcevich executed a bump and run on Stewart Friesen in turn 3 on the final lap to win the Pinty's 100. Friesen was second, then Jake Sheridan. Marc-Antoine Camirand and Alex Tagliani rounded out the top five.
- In the first Super DIRTcar Series SummerFAST race of the week at Brewerton Speedway, points leader Matt Sheppard brought his A-game Tuesday night. Sheppard led flag-to-flag to take
his series leading fourth win of the year. Tom Sears Jr. from nearby Clay, N.Y. was second, followed by Peter Britten and Mat Williamson. Tim Sears Jr., the nephew of Tom Sears Jr., was fifth.
With the victory, Sheppard increased his points lead to 85 points over Williamson. Anthony Perrego was third, then Jimmy Phelps and Max McLaughlin.
- Watkins Glen International announced Tuesday that Sunoco will serve as the title sponsor of Saturday's NASCAR Xfinity Series race on the 2.45-mile road course. The race will be known as the Sunoco GO Rewards 200 at the Glen.
