- NASCAR is holding a press conference at 3:30 p.m. ET about "the future of racing in Chicago." Among those that are scheduled to be in attendance are Chicago mayor Lori Lightfoot, Bubba Wallace and Ben Kennedy. This press conference, which will be streamed at NASCAR.com, will likely see the unveiling of a new street race in the country's third largest city.
- The eNASCAR Coca-Cola iRacing Series will be back in action tonight at the virtual Pocono Raceway. Coverage will start at 8:30 p.m ET on NASCAR's YouTube channel. IRacing's YouTube channel will also stream the race itself at 9 p.m.
- NASCAR teams are still at their shops, preparing for this weekend's action in Pocono. If anything of note breaks in addition to the Chicago news, we'll have it for you at Frontstretch.

For Saturday's Explore the Pocono Mountains 225, there are 39 teams entered. Cole Custer is back with SS-Green Light Racing, while Sammy Smith makes his second start for Joe Gibbs Racing. Rajah Caruth is also back
with Alpha Prime Racing.

For the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series regular season finale, there are 38 trucks entered. Ryan Preece returns to David Gilliland Racing's No. 17, while Jesse Little will drive Young's Motorsports No. 20.
Todd Bodine will make his final career start, while Tate Fogleman will attempt in a second Rackley W.A.R. Chevrolet.

| | David Schildhouse Opens the Playoffs with a Big Win at Daytona Road
Course
David Schildhouse, the new assistant general manager of Alpha Prime Racing, scored the victory in the first playoff race for Interstate Batteries Monday Night Racing at the virtual Daytona International Speedway's road
course. Garrett Smithley was second, then Anthony Alfredo, Adam Cabot and Will Rodgers.
