Around the World in Motorsports: July 20

- The World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series was in action last night at Port Royal Speedway in Central Pennsylvania. The Pennsylvania Posse was out in force on the half-mile oval, but a different part-timer came in to steal the show.

Kyle Larson, in Pennsylvania for this weekend's M&M's Fan Appreciation 400 at Pocono Raceway, blitzed the field. Larson led flag-to-flag to earn his fourth win of the year. He was 2.799 seconds ahead of Danny Dietrich at the finish. Anthony Macri was third, then Brent Marks and Sheldon Haudenschild.

Brad Sweet finished 13th, but maintains the points lead. His advantage is 38 points over David Gravel. Carson Macedo is third, then Haudenschild and Schuchart.

Austin Cindric Loses Crew Chief After New Hampshire Wheel Penalty

NASCAR announced Wednesday that Austin Cindric's team has been penalized heavily for the lost wheel on pit road Sunday. Four-race suspensions have been handed down once again.

NAPA, Chase Elliott Re-Up in Multi-Year Agreement

Hendrick Motorsports announced Wednesday that they have reached a contract extension that will see NAPA Auto Parts remain as the primary sponsor for 26 races a year on Chase Elliott's No. 9 Chevrolet.

Nick Sanchez Joining Big Machine for 4 Races

Big Machine Racing announced Wednesday that ARCA Menards Series regular Nick Sanchez will join the team for four races, starting at Bristol in September.
