Around the World in Motorsports: Nov. 1

- Phoenix Raceway announced Tuesday that they have named Latasha Causey as their new track president, effective Nov. 28. Causey comes to the track from Bell Bank, where she served as the vice president and community development officer. Causey replaces Julie Giese, who will be heading up the new Chicago street race.

- Vicente Salas claimed victory Tuesday night in the first eNASCAR Contender Road to Pro iRacing Series event of the year at the virtual Phoenix Raceway. Jordy Lopez Jr. was second, then Tucker Minter, Joey Brown and Darik Bourdeau.

Josh Berry, Dale Earnhardt Jr. Gain Bass Pro Shops Sponsorship in 2023

JR Motorsports announced Tuesday that they have entered into a multi-faceted relationship with Bass Pro Shops. The chain of outdoor stores will sponsor Josh Berry's car for 11 races in 2023, along with Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Carson Kvapil on the CARS Tour.

Garrett Smithley Signed for Full-Time Xfinity Ride with BJMM in 2023

BJ McLeod Motorsports announced Tuesday that Garrett Smithley will drive the No. 78 Chevrolet full-time in the NASCAR Xfinity Series in 2023 with Trophy Tractor sponsorship.

Tony Kanaan Racing Indy 500 With Arrow McLaren

Arrow McLaren SP announced Tuesday that Tony Kanaan will move over to the team from Chip Ganassi Racing for the Indianapolis 500. In addition, NTT Data sponsorship will move to Arrow McLaren SP, ending a long relationship with Ganassi.
