- In Pomona, Calif. Sunday, the NHRA Camping World Drag Racing Series wrapped up their 2022 season. In Top Fuel, Austin Prock took the final win of the season over Antron Brown with a 3.641
second run at 336.23 mph. Brittany Force clinched her second Top Fuel championship by winning in the first round.
In Funny Car, Cruz Pedregon picked up the victory over Ron Capps with a 3.839 second run at 335.65 mph for his 38th career victory. Capps clinched the Funny Car championship by
defeating Bob Tasca III in the semi-finals.
Greg Anderson got an advantage of .041 seconds off of the lead and used that to his benefit to defeat Erica Enders in the Pro Stock final to take his 101st Pro Stock victory in the final race before team owner Ken Black retires. Enders already
clinched the Pro Stock championship two weeks earlier in Las Vegas.
Finally, Angie Smith beat Joey Gladstone off the line by .012 seconds Sunday. She was able to barely hold onto that advantage to win the Pro Stock Motorcycle class on a holeshot. Smith's pass was 6.749 seconds at 199.55,
one-hundredth of a second slower than Gladstone. The margin of victory was .0021 seconds. Angie Smith's husband, Matt Smith, won the Pro Stock Motorcycle championship early Sunday afternoon, but ended up missing out on the finals when Gladstone beat him in the semis.

Endurance Championship hold their annual Rookie Test at the Bahrain International Circuit. Here, a number of drivers got to try out new equipment.
Lilou Wadoux, who raced full-time for Richard Mille Racing Team in LMP2, drove the Hypercar championship winning No. 8 Toyota. Wadoux's
best lap was 109.116 mph, roughly four seconds off the quickest laps of the weekend.
Peuegot had five different drivers in their cars. In addition to Nico Mueller, who made his racing debut with the team Saturday, Yann Ehrlacher and Malthe Jakobsen took turns behind the wheel of the
No. 94 Peugeot 9X8. In the No. 93 was Maximilian Guenther from Formula E, along with regular driver Mikkel Jensen.
The quickest lap of the test was set by Toyota's Jose Maria Lopez at 111.263 mph, set in the morning session. Signatech Alpine's Matthieu Vaxiviere was quickest in the
afternoon at 110.293 mph.
In LMP2, the fastest driver was Nelson Piquet Jr. in the United Autosports No. 22 with a lap at 108.172 mph during the morning session. Piquet was .394 seconds quicker than Antonio Fuoco in the AF Corse No. 83. Paul-Loup Chatin was third.
The afternoon session saw European Le Mans Series regular Bent Viscaal go fastest at 107.478 mph in Prema's No. 9. He was nearly four-tenths of a second faster than United Autosports' Garnet Patterson, then Oliver Cadlwell, Frederick Lubin and Doriane Pin in the JOTA Sport No. 38.
In the GTE classes, a number of drivers were there to get their feet wet. Ben Keating drove the Corvette in anticipation of his GTE-Am campaign next year. Ryan Hardwick, the winner of the Bob Akin Award from the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship's GTD class, tested D'Station Racing's Aston Martin in
an attempt to determine which car to run with his automatic entry at Le Mans. Former Michelin Pilot Challenge driver Indy Dontje tested for Northwest AMR in their Aston Martin as well.
