- Wright Motorsports announced Wednesday that they are expanding their efforts in Fanatec GT World Challenge America Powered by AWS to a two-car Porsche team. The new second entry will be shared by Adam Adelson and Elliott Skeer in the Pro-Am class. This car will
be the older 991.2 Porsche 911 GT3 R, as opposed to the new car that debuted in Daytona. In addition, Adelson will also race full-time in GT America powered by AWS.
Adelson and Skeer will race as teammates to Jan Heylen and Charlie Luck, who finished second in Pro-Am points last year. They have raced together for years, having
been teammates last year in Pirelli GT4 America SprintX in a Porsche Cayman GT4 Clubsport MR for Premier Racing last year (Skeer is pictured above at Watkins Glen).
In 2022, Adelson and Skeer finished second in Pirelli GT4 America SprintX Pro-Am points with three class victories (a weekend sweep at NOLA Motorsports Park and
another win at Road America). Adelson also finished third in GT4 in GT America powered by AWS in a similar Cayman with wins at VIR and Road America.
