- Thaze Competition announced Tuesday that they will make their IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge debut in the Grand Sport-only round in Downtown Detroit. Holland, Mich.'s Marc Miller will share the No. 78 Mercedes-AMG GT4 with former Fanatec GT World Challenge America powered by AWS racer Michael Di Meo.

The Thaze team announced their intention to compete in Pilot Challenge prior to the start of the season. It appeared like the team was going to debut earlier, especially since they had personnel at the season opener in Daytona. However, they have chosen to debut at their home race.
