- Front Row Motorsports announced Tuesday that Rural Communication of America Inc. (RTA) will serve as the primary sponsor of Zane Smith's No. 38 Ford in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series races at Darlington and the September race in Kansas.
- The Chicago Street Race officially announced the race names Tuesday for the inaugural NASCAR street races scheduled for the 4th of July weekend.
The NASCAR Cup Series race will be known as the Grant Park 220, while the NASCAR Xfinity Series race will be The Loop 121. The Cup race is named after the park that it will cut through, while The Loop is a specific area of Downtown Chicago just west of the track.
- Martinsville Speedway announced Tuesday that Long John Silver's will serve as the title sponsor of the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race on the paperclip oval on April 14.
They will replace Blue-Emu. Included in the announcement was also news that Long John Silver's, a chain in which Front Row Motorsports owner Bob Jenkins is a franchisee for, will sponsor Zane Smith's No. 38 Ford in the race as well.
