- Porsche announced Thursday morning that Manthey Racing will run the manufacturer's two LMGT3 cars in the FIA World Endurance Championship in 2024. Manthey Racing has been a subsidiary of Porsche itself since 2013..

The team has primarily competed at the Nurburgring over the years. Since becoming a subsidiary, the team has expanded their reach with races in the Intercontinental GT Challenge. This year, they are also running two cars full-time in DTM.

With the new class coming in to replace GTE-Am, manufacturers will be limited to two cars each, either with one team or with two single-car teams.
