- Jacques Villeneuve's time in the FIA World Endurance Championship's Hypercar class appears to already be over. In a statement released Wednesday, Villeneuve indicated that he would no longer drive for the team going forward. The statement indicated that he was unhappy about being replaced by Tristan Vautier for Le Mans and not being notified of the move ahead of time. He apparently found out about it when the team announced Vautier's addition themselves. He also believes that the move was calculated since Villeneuve was off the grid at the time due to the birth of his daughter Olivia, something that the team was aware of.

The 2023 season has been a struggle for Villeneuve with the team. He finished eighth in class at Sebring, but crashed out of the last two races at Portimao and Spa-Francorchamps.
