- The Tezos All Star Circuit of Champions had to deal with extremely tricky
conditions Monday night at Wayne County Speedway after an inch of rain Sunday night made for an extremely bumpy and muddy track surface. The program was backed up by roughly an hour due to track prep and officials announced that the race would be a non-points race as a result. Those who wished to pack up were allowed to do so with no penalty. Drivers such as Danny Dietrich did so.
In the Duffy Smith Memorial, Tyler
Courtney was able to get past Cap Henry and Cole Macedo on lap 9, then held on to take a well-deserved victory and a check for $10,000. Henry was second, then Ricky Peterson, Trey Jacobs and Macedo.
Since the race ended up being a non-points race, Courtney leaves Wayne
County with a 120-point lead over Chris Windom. Zeb Wise is third, then Tim Shaffer and JJ Hickle.
