- At Albany-Saratoga Speedway Tuesday night, Chris Hile took the lead from track regular Anthony Perrego on lap 39 and slipped away from the pack. He was able to hold on during a five-lap sprint to the finish to win the Super DIRTcar Series Summer Starter 71 for his first career Super DIRTcar Series win.

Matt DeLorenzo was second, followed by Adam Pierson. Australian racer Peter Britten was fourth, while Demetrios Drellos was fifth.

In the points, Matt Sheppard, who finished sixth, holds a four-point lead over Mat Williamson after four races. Jimmy Phelps is third, then Britten and Hile.
