- The news of Noah Gragson's reinstatement (see above) brought with it two other notable penalties. Jeff Stankiewicz, crew chief for Sheldon Creed's No. 2 in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, has been suspended for Friday night's Food City 300 after two loose lugnuts were found on Creed's car after Saturday's Kansas Lottery 300.
In the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, both Kaden Honeycut and Colby Howard were docked 10 points due to unapproved triangular filler panels. Howard remains 20th in points, while Honeycutt dropped from 25th to 27th.
- Tuesday was Media Day for the 12 NASCAR Xfinity Series playoff contenders. The fully remote sessions didn't reveal too much.
