What to Watch: Tuesday

- Today, the Goodyear tire test at Indianapolis Motor Speedway will conclude. Any information from the Next Gen car's first exploits on the oval will be pivotal to any future NASCAR Cup Series race on the 2.5-mile oval.

- The eNASCAR Coca-Cola iRacing Series will be back in action tonight at the virtual Michigan International Speedway. Coverage of the 15th race of the Coca-Cola iRacing Series season will begin at 8:30 p.m. ET on NASCAR's YouTube channel.

- Teams are currently preparing for this weekend's action in Watkins Glen. We'll have any news that breaks for you today at Frontstretch.

Entry List: 2023 Go Bowling at the Glen

For Sunday's NASCAR Cup Series race at Watkins Glen, there are 36 teams entered. Andy Lally shifts to the No. 15 Ford, while Cole Custer returns to the No. 51.

James Bickford Captures Monday Night Racing Gen4 Title, Cole Cabre Wins Homestead

Cole Cabre held off his brother Chase Monday night to win the final race of the MNR Summer Bash at the virtual Homestead-Miami Speedway. Christopher Tate was third, then Matt Stallknecht and NIck Olsen. James Bickford finished eighth and won the Gen4 championship.

Around the World in Motorsports: Aug. 14

- The Super DIRTcar Series started off SummerFAST, a mini season-within-a-season in Central New York, Monday night at Brewerton Speedway. Fans in the small town north of Syracuse were treated to a duel between Mat Williamson and Matt Sheppard.

The last 15 laps of the 60-lap feature saw the two drivers dueling for the lead. With two laps to go, Williamson got a run on the outside of Sheppard. Running as hard as he could, Williamson made the pass on the outside and made it stick to take the win, his fourth of the season.

Sheppard had to settle for second, while Tim Sears Jr. was third. Pole sitter Danny Johnson and Jack Lehner were fourth and fifth, respectively.

In the points, Sheppard has a 49-point lead over Williamson. Chris Hile is third, then Sears and Jimmy Phelps.
