- In IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship Practice No. 2 Thursday, JDC-Miller MotorSports' Phil Hanson was fastest with a lap at 124.495 mph. This lap ultimately held up to be the fastest lap of the day.
Hanson's lap was .146 seconds faster than Chip Ganassi Racing's Sebastien Bourdais. Action Express Racing's
Pipo Derani was third in his Cadillac, then Wayne Taylor Racing with Andretti Global's Louis Deletraz. Porsche Penske Motorsport's Mathieu Jaminet was fifth.
Riley Motorsports' Josh Burdon was fastest in LMP2 with a lap at 120.131 mph, 12th overall. The lap was .136 seconds faster than a tie between CrowdStrike Racing by APR's Toby Sowery and Inter Europol by PR1 Mathiasen Motorsports' Tom
Dillmann. Since Sowery set the time first, he gets credit for second-place.
Richard Mille AF Corse's Nicklas Nielsen was fourth fastest in his No. 88. United Autosports' Nico Pino was fifth.
In GT action, VasserSullivan was once again on top. Parker Thompson in the team's GTD class entry was the fastest GT
driver with a lap at 111.979 mph, 25th overall. The lap was 1.208 seconds faster than the Lamborghini of Forte Racing's Loris Spinelli. Team Korthoff Motorsports' Mikael Grenier was third, then Wright Motorsports' Elliott Skeer. Conquest Racing's Albert Costa was fifth.
Jack Hawksworth in VasserSullivan's No. 14 was fastest in GTD Pro with a lap at 111.916 mph, second
fastest of all GT drivers, .067 seconds slower than Thompson. Hawksworth's lap was .454 seconds faster than Risi Competizione's Davide Rigon. The McLaren of Pfaff Motorsports' Oliver Jarvis was third, then Corvette Racing by Pratt Miller Motorsports' Earl Bamber. AO Racing's Porsche for Sebastian Priaulx was fifth.
The session had one red flag right at the beginning when
Rigon stalled his Ferrari. A more consequential incident saw Lamborghini Iron Lynx's Romain Grosjean slide off the course at turn 13 and hit the tires. Grosjean was able to extricate himself and drive the car back to the paddock.
- In night practice for the Mobil 1 12 Hours of Sebring, Chip Ganassi Racing's Renger van der Zander was fastest overall with a lap at 123.320 mph
in his Cadillac VSeries.R. Van der Zande was .258 seconds faster than BMW M Team RLL's Augusto Farfus. Wayne Taylor Racing with Andretti Global's Filipe Albuquerque was third in his Acura, then Action Express Racing's Tom Blomqvist. Jaminet was fifth.
In LMP2, TDS Racing's Mikkel Jensen was fastest with a lap at 120.757 mph, good for 10th overall. The lap was just .007 seconds faster than AO
Racing's Paul-Loup Chatin in "Spike." United Autosports' Ben Hanley was third fastest, then Dillmann and Tower Motorsports' Charlie Eastwood.
Bamber topped the GTD Pro class and all GT drivers with a lap at 111.466 mph, good for 24th overall. The lap was .319 seconds faster than the BMW of Paul Miller Racing's Neil Verhagen. AO Racing's Laurin Heinrich was third, then Risi

In GTD, Cetilar Racing's Antonio Fuoco was fastest in his Ferrari 296 GT3 with a lap at 111.281 mph, 25th overall and second fastest of all GT drivers, .201 seconds slower than Bamber. Fuoco was .017 seconds faster than Winward Racing's Philip Ellis. Skeer was third, then Grenier and Turner

The session had three red flags. One was minor due to Jonny Edgar stalling the Sean Creech Motorsport Ligier JS P217-Gibson. Another came when Dillmann had contact with Inception Racing's Brendan Iribe in the hairpin, spinning the Inception McLaren out and littering the track with debris.
The biggest incident of the session came in the closing minutes and ended practice early. Here, CrowdStrike Racing by APR's Colin Braun lost control entering Sunset Bend and backed hard into the tire curtains. The ORECA 07-Gibson was damaged in the incident, leaving a lot of work for the team ahead of qualifying.
