- Today is the start of a two-day Goodyear tire test at the newly-repaved Sonoma Raceway. Ross Chastain, Josh Berry and Martin Truex Jr. will be turning laps on the 1.99-mile course to try to nail down the right compound for June's race weekend at the undulating road course. There are some things that teams will have to get used to. For instance,
Slugger Labbe noted that the old scoring tower for the drag strip has been demolished. As a result, crews will be
able to see turn 10 from their pit stalls for the first time. We'll have any news that breaks for you at Frontstretch.

Around the World in Motorsports: March 25-26 |
- Andrew Wojteczko Autosport announced Monday that Anthony Mantella has decided to step away from the No. 17 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 GT3.R after a brutal start to the 2024 season. He was not pleased with the Corvette and let his thoughts be known in an Instagram post. The No. 17 has not finished either race so far this year. The Mobil 1 12 Hours of Sebring was a nightmare as Mantella couldn't get his car to start. Prior to the green flag, the team had to
install a new battery and alternator. That put the team multiple laps behind before they even started. The new parts didn't work and Mantella retired the car after only two laps. - Racers Edge Motorsports announced Monday that they will return to Fanatec GT World Challenge America powered by AWS action in 2024 with a new lineup. Luca Mars, who is full-time in IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge for KohR Motorsports, will team up with former INDYCAR racer Zach Veach. Veach has not raced anything since 2022 and last competed in a major
series when he drove for VasserSullivan in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship in 2021. - SportsCar365.com is reporting that Turner Motorsport will also return to Fanatec GT World Challenge America powered by AWS after a year away. They will field a BMW M4 GT3 for Robby Foley and Justin Rothberg for the full season. Rothberg will also race in GT America powered by AWS. Rothberg comes to the team after racing in Ferrari Challenge North America last
year.
