Parnelli Jones died on Tuesday after a long battle with Parkinson's Disease. He was 90.

NASCAR released the weekly penalty report. In it, Kyle Weatherman was fined $25,000 for running into Ryan Sieg on pit road after Saturday's Pacific Office Automation 147 in Portland.

Around the World in Motorsports: June 4

- In Super DIRTcar Series action, Stewart Friesen took the lead away from Anthony Perrego on lap 34. From there, he held on to win the Anthracite Assault 75 at Big Diamond Speedway. In addition to a check for $10,000, Friesen earned an automatic starting spot in October's Billy Whitaker Cars & Trux 200 at Oswego Speedway.

Perrego was second, then Matt Sheppard, Mat Williamson and Ryan Godown.

- The Kubota High Limit Sprint Car Series Duel at Davenport Tuesday night was rained out. It will not be rescheduled.

- Tonight's Super DirtCar Series race, the Sand Hill 75 at Selinsgrove Speedway, has been cancelled due to an unfavorable weather forecast. It will not be made up.
