NASCAR Suspends 2 Crewmembers on Kyle Larson’s No. 5 Team

Losing your wheel under caution is still a hefty penalty in NASCAR. Two members of Kyle Larson's crew are suspended for the next two weeks due to Larson losing his right rear wheel in Texas.

Around the World in Motorsports: April 16

- Kellymoss announced Tuesday that they have signed off Jake Pedersen to a new multi-series deal. He will drive a second car for the team under the Kellymoss by Riley banner in IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge alongside Kay van Berlo. No number for this new Cayman entry has been revealed. In addition, Pedersen will drive full-time for the team in Porsche Carrera Cup North America.

Pedersen moves to the team from Rearden Racing, where he drove a Porsche Cayman GT4 RS CS alongside Vesko Kozarov (pictured above). The duo's best finish has been an 11th at Sebring.

Van Berlo has experience with the team, having raced in the team's No. 91 Porsche in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship last year alongside Alan Metni. In addition, van Berlo previously spent two years (2021 and 2022) racing in Porsche Carrera Cup North America with Kellymoss, finishing second in the championship both years.
