- NASCAR announced Wednesday morning that they will be launching three new shows in the next few days as the NASCAR
Cup Series playoffs get underway.
First up is NASCAR Inside the Playoffs, which will debut tomorrow night at 7 p.m. ET on TruTV with a simulcast on Max's B/R Sports Add-on. This show will be hosted by Shannon Spake with Steve Letarte and Dylan "Mamba" Smith. A fourth person on the show will be a rotating seat for current or former drivers. Kyle Busch will be in that seat for the
first two episodes. The on-air crew will be completed with The Athletic's Jordan Bianchi, who will discuss breaking news on the show.
The press release describes this show as "[dissecting] the evolving postseason action through an unfiltered lens." It is also described as a head start to Warner Bros. Discovery's entry into the NASCAR Cup Series for next season. We will take a look
at the first episode in The Critic's Annex on Friday.
Next is NASCAR Daily, which will be a 10-minute YouTube show on NASCAR's YouTube channel at 10 a.m. weekdays starting Monday. Spake will host this show that will cover breaking news, guest appearances and recurring segments.
Finally,
NASCAR is launching another podcast. Drop the Jack will premiere tomorrow at 3 p.m. ET on NASCAR's YouTube channel and will be available later in the day on all major podcast platforms. The show will focus on pit crews and engaging conversation. Smith will host the show along with Paul Swan, Derrell Edwards, Michael Hicks and Jorden Paige.
