- Hendrick Motorsports and Arrow McLaren SP announced Tuesday that Kyle Larson will be back with the team for the 109th running of the Indianapolis 500. The effort will generally be very similar to this year.

However, during the post-announcement press conference, Rick Hendrick held firm on one topic. There won't be a repeat of what happened this year. The priority will clearly be on the Coca-Cola 600. He would not hesitate to pull Larson out of the race so that he could get to Charlotte on time.
