- In Quebec Tuesday night, David Hebert won the Lumberjack Swing event at Autodrome Granby for the Short Track Super Series. Super DIRTcar Series points leader Matt Sheppard was second, while Stewart Friesen was third.
The series was scheduled to move on to Le RPM Speedway, a quarter-mile oval
in Saint-Marcel-de-Richelieu, Quebec. However, that race has been rained out and will not be
rescheduled.
- The zMAX CARS Tour released a substantial penalty report Tuesday stemming from last weekend's Soundgear Throwback 276 at Hickory Motor Speedway. The biggest penalty went to Andrew Grady, who has been suspended for three races and fined $1,000 for threatening bodily harm to a CARS Tour official. He was also put on probation for the remainder of the year and fined $500 for confronting another competitor. Calling Landon Huffman a "trash panda" in our post-race interview did not get Grady fined.
Chris Courtney and Gage Painter were suspended for one race each and fined $500 for
the fight that occurred in the pits after the race Saturday night.
