- Team AmeriVet announced Tuesday that they have filed a post-entry to compete in Sunday's season finale in Phoenix. Jeb Burton will drive the No. 50 Chevrolet, giving us a full 40-car field for Sunday's 312-lap race.
- Tuesday's penalties have had a fairly significant effect on the points for those just outside of the playoffs. Bubba Wallace and Ross Chastain were two of
the top-three drivers that missed the playoffs. The 50-point penalties mean that Chris Buescher moves back up to 17th. He will be 49 points ahead of Wallace and 63 ahead of Chastain.
Austin Dillon was hurt the most by the penalty. He drops from 27th to 32nd in points.
