What to Watch: Wednesday

- Today, Goodyear is holding a tire test at Rockingham Speedway for the NASCAR Xfinity Series ahead of next year's return to the 1.017-mile tri-oval for the first time since 2004. Justin Allgaier, Sheldon Creed and Brandon Jones are scheduled to test compounds on the high banks. As of now, the track surface is still the same one that was laid down in 1994, so tire wear will be significant next year.

Around the World in Motorsports: Nov. 12

- In the weekly penalty report, NASCAR announced that Anthony Alfredo has been fined $25,000 and docked 25 points for intentionally wrecking Stefan Parsons during Friday night's Xfinity 200. The penalty does not affect Alfredo's standing in the points. He'll still finish 15th. In the Old point standings, he would still be 14th, while he would drop to 15th in the WC points.
