- NASCAR released their weekly penalty report from Las Vegas Tuesday. The biggest penalty of the week goes to Legacy Motor Club. Erik Jones lost his left front wheel under caution during the South Point 400, something NASCAR takes a very dim view of.
As a result, jackman Kellen Mills and front tire changer John Rosselli have been suspended for the next
two races. Three crew chiefs in the NASCAR Xfinity Series were also fined $5,000 each due to one lug nut being loose after Saturday's Ambetter Health 302.
- SportsCar365.com is reporting that Korthoff/Preston Motorsports has rebranded again for 2025. The team will now be known as Korthoff Competition Motorsports. The full-time drivers for the team will be Kenton Koch and Seth Lucas. Maximilian Goetz will drive in the Michelin Endurance Cup races.
Lucas comes to the team after racing in LMP2 for High Class Racing this year. Teamed with Dennis Andersen, he finished 11th in LMP2 points with a best finish of fourth at Watkins Glen.
Koch was originally hired as the team's endurance driver for 2024, but ultimately drove in seven
of the 10 races. He was 20th in GTD points with a class victory at VIR and a third-place finish at Indianapolis.
