- Niece Motorsports' Matt Mills was released from the hospital Monday after being observed for two nights due to smoke inhalation. That came as a result of contact from ThorSport Racing's Conner Jones that put Mills hard into the wall during Saturday's Baptist Health 200 that resulted in a fire getting in the cockpit of his Chevrolet. Jones was given a two-lap penalty for his actions.
Mills is
thankful for the support that he has received from fans over the past couple of days. He intends to race Friday night at Martinsville.
