What to Watch: Tuesday

- Today is load-in day for NASCAR Cup Series teams in Daytona. They are scheduled to begin parking in the garage area at 7:15 p.m. ET.

However, before they do so, there is a hauler parade scheduled for 5 p.m. ET at One Daytona, which is across U.S. Route 92 (International Speedway Boulevard) from the track. The event is free to the public if you will be in the Daytona Beach area.

- Meanwhile, the Federated Auto Parts DIRTcar Nationals continues at Volusia Speedway Park. Tonight concludes the USAC AMSOIL Sprint Car National Championship portion of the Nationals. Coverage will start at 5:15 p.m. ET on both DIRTvision and FLORacing.

- New Smyrna Speedway will host the ASA STARS National Tour tonight in their season opener, the Clyde Hart Memorial 200, as part of the World Series of Asphalt. Coverage will start from New Smyrna Beach at 7 p.m. on FLORacing.

Niece Motorsports announced Monday that Christian Rose, who was supposed to drive the No. 44 Chevrolet full-time in 2025, is out of the truck due to sponsor issues. Bayley Currey will drive in his place.

Friday night's NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series opener has 38 trucks entered. Johnny Sauter will drive for ThorSport Racing, while Clay Greenfield brings his No. 95 back for another go.

Around the World in Motorsports: Feb. 10

- Era Motorsport announced Monday that Kakunoshin Ohta will join the team in their ORECA 07-Gibson (pictured above) at both Sebring and Road America. He will be driving in place of Ryan Dalziel in both races and team up with David Heinemeier Hansson (Sebring only) and Tobias Lutke (both races).

Ohta comes to the United States after running full-time last year in the two biggest domestic series in Japan, Super Formula and the Autobacs SuperGT Championship. Ohta won the final two rounds at Suzuka and finished fourth in Super Formula points for Team Dandelion Racing. He was 10th in GT500 points with a best finish of second in the season finale at Suzuka.

Ohta made his IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship debut for Meyer Shank Racing with Curb-Agajanian in Daytona. He ran well in the race, but a mechanical problem put the No. 93 Acura in the garage. He ended up finishing eighth in GTP, 40 laps down.

The two-race program with Era Motorsport is in addition to his existing three-race schedule in the No. 93 Acura.
