Around the World in Motorsports: Feb. 17

- NTT IndyCar Series teams began their spring testing Monday at Sebring International Raceway. Arrow McLaren's Patricio O'Ward was fastest with a lap at 114.849 mph around the 1.67-mile short course.

O'Ward's lap was .0205 seconds faster than Meyer Shank Racing's Marcus Armstrong. Chip Ganassi Racing's Alex Palou was third, then Juncos Hollinger Racing's Conor Daly. Christian Lundgaard was fifth in the second Arrow McLaren entry.

Slowest overall was Scott Dixon, who failed to set a competitive time due to mechanical issues. He did have a time, but it was over 21 minutes when O'Ward's quick lap was 52.347 seconds.
