- The Automobile Club d'Ouest (ACO) announced the preliminary
entry list for the 2025 24 Hours of Le Mans Monday. 62 teams have entries in the three classes (Hypercar, LMP2 and LMGT3).
There are 21 Hypercars entered. These are the 18 full-time teams in the WEC, plus three additional entries. Porsche Penske Motorsport has a third card (No. 4) as a result of the team winning the IMSA
WeatherTech SportsCar Championship's GTP title. IMSA regulars Felipe Nasr and Nick Tandy are the listed drivers.
Wayne Taylor Racing and Action Express Racing both got at-large entries. The Taylor brothers (Jordan and Ricky) will drive the WTR Cadillac, along with Filipe Albuquerque. Action Express Racing will have Jack Aitken, Felipe Drugovich and Frederik
Vesti.
There are 17 LMP2 cars entered. Five of those 17 teams are auto-invites. Inter Europol Competition's No. 34 comes from Nick Boulle's invite from winning the Jim Trueman Award in IMSA, while their second car is from the team finishing second in the ELMS LMP2 class. AF Corse's No. 155 comes from the team winning the European Le Mans Series LMP2 Pro-Am title. RLR MSport's entry
is from winning the ELMS LMP3 title. Algarve Pro Racing's entry with CrowdStrike Racing is an auto entry from APR winning the Asian Le Mans Series LMP2 championship.
Finally, there are 24 LMGT3 teams entered. Four of those teams are auto-entries. Andrew Wojteczko Autosport is running a Chevrolet Corvette with their Michelin Endurance Cup driver lineup as a result of Orey Fidani
winning the Bob Akin Award last year in IMSA.
Iron Lynx has a third Mercedes as a result of the team winning the LMGT3 championship in the ELMS last year. Manthey Racing has a second car as a result of the team winning the Asian Le Mans Series LMGT3 championship last month. Finally, Ziggo Sport Tempesta has a spot as a result of winning Fanatec GT World Challenge Europe powered by
AWS' Bronze Cup.

- World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series teams were back in action Monday night at Volusia Speedway Park for Night No. 2 of the Bike Week Jamboree. This race had a similar
outcome to Sunday night, but the path to get there was significantly different.
Giovanni Scelzi started from the pole and opened up a decent gap on the field. Meanwhile, David Gravel started third and slipped to fourth early on. From there, he was able to move forward and get to second by lap 11.
Gravel then ran down Scelzi and took the lead on lap 15. From there, Gravel drove away to earn the Jamboree sweep.
Logan Schuchart finished second, followed by Scelzi and Carson Macedo. Jacob Allen was fifth.
Gravel's second win
in a row allowed him to expand his points lead to 44 over Schuchart. Macedo is third, then Donny Schatz and Buddy Kofoid.
