Around the World in Motorsports: March 18

- Goodyear held a tire test Tuesday at Charlotte Motor Speedway to test new compounds for May's Coca-Cola 600. Ryan Blaney, Chase Briscoe and William Byron were at the test for Cup, while Sheldon Creed and Austin Hill tested tires for the Xfinity Series. We were represented at the test and have videos below.

- Lime Rock Park announced Wednesday that the Laborers International Union of North America will serve as the primary sponsor of the inaugural NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race at the Connecticut road course on June 28. The race will be known as the LiUNA! 150.
