- The Kubota High Limit Sprint Car Series was at Eldora Speedway Wednesday night for the Double Down Duels, which set the top starting spots for tonight's Joker's Jackpot. Race No. 1 saw Aaron Reutzel take lead from James McFadden on lap 12 and hold on for the victory over Logan Schuchart, Kyle
Larson, McFadden and Anthony Macri. The second race had Corey Day take the victory over Tanner Holmes, Rico Abreu, Tyler Courtney and Carson Macedo. World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series points leader David Gravel finished second on the road in Race No. 2, but he was disqualified afterwards. In post-race inspection, Gravel's car was found to have the front wing
mounted too far forward. Passing points were being handed out during the heat races and the features to help determine the grid for tonight's Joker's Jackpot. As a result, Abreu will lead the field to green tonight with Larson alongside. 12 drivers are locked in. The other A-Main starters will be decided through tonight's heat races and B-Mains.

Frontstretch Line of the Week "We’re up at Darrell [Waltrip]’s golf tournament and charity deal up in Nashville, Tenn. late in the season. [Greenfield] got to talking about, they wanted to do this, they wanted to do that, and Clay said, ‘Come on, Hammond. You need to come out of retirement and crew chief me! "I said, ‘Give me a call. I’ll see what’s going on. I mean it was really that simple. It really was, and that kind of got the fire burning again, and I had some fun there." - Jeff Hammond, on how he ended up as Clay Greenfield's part-time crew chief.
