- In an update Thursday, Jessica Friesen announced that her husband, Stewart Friesen, is back in the United
States and is currently at a Level 1 Trauma Center in New York. - The Super DIRTcar Series wrapped up their Canadian Swing Wednesday night with a trip to Brockville Ontario Speedway for the Canadian Classic. Here, Alex Payne won the pole, then led all 75 laps to take his second straight victory on the Ontario dirt track. Mat Williamson was second, then Matt Sheppard, Alex Yankowski and Felix Roy. Points-wise, Williamson's second-place finish expanded his points lead over Yankowski to 13 points. Sheppard is third, then Payne and Erick Rudolph.
