- Genesis Magma Racing announced Thursday that Paul-Loup Chatin and Mathieu Jaminet have signed with the organization
as the final two drivers for their inaugural season in thet FIA World Endurance Championship. They'll join Pipo Derani, Mathys Jaubert, Daniel Juncadella and Andre Lotterer with the team. Official driver lineups are yet to be announced.
Chatin comes to the team after spending the past two years with Signatech Alpine, racing the Alpine A424 in the WEC. He earned a victory
at Fuji in September with teammates Ferdinand Habsburg and Charles Milesi. However, that was his only podium finish with the team. He ultimately finished 14th in points this year, scoring only 12 points outside of the Fuji win.
Jaminet comes to Genesis after spending much of his career in the Porsche fold. He was named a Porsche Junior driver in 2016, then
was promoted to a full Porsche factory driver in 2020.
In IMSA competition, Jaminet is coming off of a championship season in GTP. Sharing with Matt Campbell, Jaminet won at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca and scored six podium finishes en route to the championship.
In addition, the team announced Tuesday that Jamie Chadwick will serve as the team's official reserve driver in 2026. She will serve as a test driver for the team and have
a regular drive outside of the WEC.
Finally, the manufacturer unveiled the Magma
GT Thursday, a mid-engined concept car that they describe as "The new symbol of Genesis Performance Vision. The next contender of the track." As of now, there are no official plans to race this car.
- 13 Motorsports announced Wednesday that Ben Green will serve as the team's fourth driver in the Rolex 24 at Daytona,
joining full-time drivers Matt Bell and Orey Fidani, along with endurance driver Lars Kern. Green comes to the team after racing full-time in DTM this year. He finished 13th in points with two podium finishes.
- Victor Gonzalez Racing Team announced Wednesday that Franco Girolami will join the team as Tyler Gonzalez's full-time teammate in IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge in
2026, replacing Eric Powell.
Girolami is a two-time champion of TCR Europe. His 2022 title was in an Audi, while the 2024 title was in a Cupra Leon VZ TCR. That gives Girolami the advantage of prior experience in the Cupra.
