- SS-Green Light Racing announced Saturday that Josh Bilicki, previously of DGM Racing, will drive the
No. 07 Chevrolet in the NASCAR O'Reilly Auto Parts Series full-time in 2026. After years of part-time schedules, it will be the first time that Bilicki will have a full season in NASCAR.
"I’m really grateful for the opportunity to drive for SS Greenlight Racing full-time in 2026 in the newly branded NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series," Bilicki stated in a press release. "I’ve driven for
SS Greenlight Racing on several occasions in the past and have seen the potential here. Having the opportunity to be at the track every weekend creates the consistency needed to move this No. 07 team forward, and I’m excited for that challenge. I’m really thankful to Bobby Dotter and the entire team for this opportunity and look forward to Daytona in a few short months!"
Between NASCAR's
three National-level series, Bilicki made 28 starts in 2025 (six Cup, 20 Xfinity and two Truck races). His six Cup races came with Garage 66 with a best finish of 21st on the streets of Chicago. In Xfinity, Bilicki made one start in SS-Green Light Racing's No. 14, while the other 19 were in DGM Racing's No. 91. His best finishes were a pair of 14ths at Daytona in February and at Sonoma. In the Trucks, he had a pair of top 10 finishes (seventh at Lime Rock and sixth at the ROVAL) for Niece
Motorsports.
Bilicki does have five previous starts with SS-Green Light Racing dating back to 2021. In those races, Bilicki's best finish was 24th in Mexico City back in June.
- Porsche announced their 2026 Porsche Penske Motorsport driver lineups Saturday night during their annual Night of Champions in Stuttgart. The No. 7 will be driven by the returning Felipe Nasr and Julien Andlauer.
Laurin Heinrich is confirmed to join for the three longest Michelin Endurance Cup races.
The No. 6 will be shared full-time by Kevin Estre and Laurens Vanthoor. The duo shared the No. 6 Porsche in the WEC in 2025, finishing fourth in points with a win at Circuit of the Americas and podium finishes at Le Mans and Fuji. Matt Campbell, the 2025 GTP champion, will be back for Daytona, Sebring and
Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta. Jaminet has left Porsche to join Genesis Magma Racing.
Andlauer joins the team full-time after racing in the FIA World Endurance Championship in 2025. He was the only driver to compete in all eight races in the No. 5 Porsche. He finished third at Interlagos and finished 11th in points.
Remember that Porsche Penske Motorsport will not compete in the WEC in 2026. As of right now, it appears that Porsche will not have a presence in the Hypercar class. If that comes to pass, Porsche Penske Motorsport would not be able to use an at-large bid to race at Le Mans that came with winning the 2025 GTP championship.
- AO Racing announced an all-new driving lineup for their GTD Pro class entry known as "Rexy" Thursday. Nick Tandy and Harry King will share the Porsche 911 GT3 R for the full season. Alessio
Picariello will join for the endurance races.
Tandy joins the team after spending the 2025 season racing for Porsche Penske Motorsport in the GTP class. Sharing the No. 7 Porsche with Felipe Nasr, Tandy scored three wins (Daytona, Sebring and Long Beach), but faded later in the year en route to a third-place finish in points.
King will be making his IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship debut in Daytona. He comes to the team from GT World Challenge Europe powered by AWS, where he won the Gold Cup championship with Verstappen.com Racing alongside Chris Lulham and Thierry Vermeulen. The trio had a class victory in the CrowdStrike 24 Hours of Spa and four overall top 10 finishes.
Tandy and King will replace Laurin Heinrich and Klaus Bachler in the No. 77. Heinrich is now a factory Porsche driver, while Bachler has not announced his plans for 2026.
- Pfaff Motorsports announced via SportsCar365.com Friday that Andrea Caldarelli will share the No. 9 Lamborghini with Sandy Mitchell in the upcoming IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship season. The team will start the season with the Lamborghini Huracan GT3 EVO2, then debut the new Temerario GT3 at Sebring.
Factory driver Mirko Bortolotti will be back with the team for Daytona, along with James Hinchcliffe. Franck Perera will drive at Sebring and Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta.
- Muehlner Motorsports America
announced their return to IMSA competition last Monday. They will field the No. 123 Porsche 911 GT3 R in the GTD class in the Rolex 24 at Daytona. The driver lineup will be comprised of Ryan Yardley, Peter Ludwig and the father-son duo of David Musial Sr. and Jr.
For Ludwig, Daytona will be his first IMSA start since Watkins Glen in 2014. That
race came with Muehlner Motorsports America. Both of the Musials and Yardley will be making their WeatherTech debuts.
The Musials raced in IMSA VP Racing SportsCar Challenge early this year. Running a pair of Ferrari 296 GT3s, the duo raced in the GTDX class at Daytona and Circuit of the Americas. Dave Sr.'s best run was a fourth in Race No. 1 at Daytona, while Dave Jr.'s best run
was seventh in Race No. 2 at Daytona.
Yardley comes to the team from Porsche Carrera Cup North America, where he won the championship in the Pro division this year on the strength of three wins. That includes a weekend sweep at Circuit of the Americas during the United States Grand Prix weekend.
For Muehlner Motorsports
America, this will serve as their first race back in WeatherTech since the 2023 Rolex 24 at Daytona, where they raced in the LMP3 class. The last time the team ran a GT car in IMSA competition was the Rolex 24 in 2015. That was far enough back that Porsche teams did not race a GT3 car. They raced what was known as the Porsche 911 GT America, an IMSA-exclusive car based on the Porsche 911 GT3 Cup car.
For now, it appears that this will be a one-off appearance for the team. The car that will race in Daytona is scheduled to be shipped to Europe to race in a number of GT3 events later this year, including the CrowdStrike 24 Hours of Spa.
