23Events Racing's Matteo Quintarelli was fastest in LMP3 with a lap at 100.758 mph in his Ligier JS P325-Toyota. His lap was .295 seconds faster than the similar Ligier of Forestier Racing by VPS' Luciano Marano. Matus Ryba in the second 23Events Racing entry was third fastest. The Team Virage entries of Narain Karthikeyan and Vic Stevens were fourth and fifth.
In GT, Ecurie Ecosse Blackthorn's Kobe Pauwels was quickest in his Aston Martin Vantage GT3 EVO with a lap at 97.323 mph. His lap was .171 seconds faster than the Ferrari of Kessel Racing's Dennis Marschall. Origine Motorsport's Hongli Ye was third, followed by recent Porsche Cup winner Loek Hartog for Manthey Racing. QMMF by GetSpeed's Lucas Auer was fifth in his Mercedes.
Free Practice No. 2 saw teams struggle to get laps set in the dry, something of a regular issue at Sepang Circuit since the track is very close to the equator in a tropical region. Before the wet weather arrived, CrowdStrike Racing by APR's Malthe Jakobsen went fastest overall with a lap at 107.190 mph. His lap was .532 seconds faster than Algarve Pro Racing's John Falb. Ponos

CLX Motorsports' Paul Lanchere was fastest in LMP3 with a lap at 99.895 mph in his Ligier. That lap was .192 seconds faster than Team Virage's Romain Vozniak. R-ACE GP's Fabien Michal was third, while Forestier Racing by VPS' Nick Adcock was
fourth. 23Events Racing's Ibrahim Badawy was fifth.
In GT, GetSpeed Performance's Shigekazu Wakisaka was fastest in his Mercedes with a lap at 96.852 mph. The lap was .380 seconds faster than QMMF by GetSpeed's Abdullah Ali Al-Khelaifi. JMR's Yasser Shahin was third in his Corvette, followed by Ecurie Ecosse Blackthorn's Giacomo Petrobelli. Proton Competition's

- The Heart of Racing
announced Thursday that they have fully pulled out of SRO America for 2026. Their sole remaining program, a full-time team in Pirelli GT4 America SprintX, will move to IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge.
That Aston Martin Vantage GT4 Evo will be shared by Hannah Greenemeier and Hannah Grisham on a regular basis. For the
four-hour race at Daytona, Mike David Ortmann will join the team.
Greenemeier and Grisham have shared a car in Pirelli GT4 America SprintX for the past two seasons. They have one class victory in the Am class together at Sonoma Raceway in 2024 and finished the 2025 season sixth in the Silver class points. Their best overall finish in Pirelli GT4 America SprintX was third in
Race No. 2 at Barber Park in 2024.
