- KohR Motorsports confirmed their driver lineups for the 2026 IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge season Wednesday. Multi-time champion Billy Johnson and Bob Michaelian will be back in the No. 59 Ford Mustang GT4. Ray Mason and Evan Slater were previously confirmed in the No. 60.
The No. 60 will be running a special scheme for the season opening BMW M Endurance Challenge at Daytona International Speedway. The car will be wrapped to resemble the Grainger Ford that Greg
Biffle drove to the 2002 NASCAR Busch Series championship.
- Random Vandals Racing announced Tuesday that they will field two full-time entries in Michelin Pilot Challenge in 2026. The No. 92 entry will be driven by Nicky Hays and Robert Megennis. Hays is the 2026 IMSA Diverse Driver Scholarship winner and was previously announced as driving for the team back in October. Megennis
moves to the team after running for Czabok Simpson Racing.
The second car is a joint venture between Random Vandals Racing and ST Racing that will race under the name of ST Racing by Random Vandals Racing. The No. 38 BMW M4 GT4 will be shared by veteran racer Bill Auberlen and Samantha Tan.
Auberlen, 57, has not competed in the series since a one-off appearance with AutoTechnic Racing in 2023. He last raced full-time in Pilot
Challenge in 2022 with Turner Motorsport.
This past season, Auberlen raced full-time for Random Vandals in GT World Challenge America powered by AWS. Sharing a BMW M4 GT3 with Varun Choksey, the duo finished fourth in Pro points with three third-place finishes.
Tan
will be making her Pilot Challenge debut. This past season, she raced in IMSA VP Racing SportsCar Challenge in the GTDX class. There, she finished third in points with four third-place finishes.
