- DXDT Racing announced Tuesday that Robert Wickens will be back in the No. 36 Corvette for the IMSA WeatherTech
SportsCar Championship sprint races this season. He will share the Corvette Z06 GT3.R with Mason Filippi, who will drive full-time.
The pairing is something of a reunion. While they never shared a car, both Filippi and Wickens raced together at Bryan Herta Autosport in IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge. The BHA Hyundai teams to this day work very closely together, so the two of them are very used to
collaborating with each other.
This will be his second full year in the car. In last year's five-race schedule, Wickens teamed with Alec Udell in the Corvette. The duo's best finish was fourth in GTD at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park, his home track.
- NASCAR has revised the preliminary entry list for this weekend's action in
Rockingham. On the revised list, it was noted that AM Racing has officially withdrawn their No. 25 Ford driven by Nick Sanchez from Saturday's North Carolina Education Lottery 250. That means that the number of entries is down to 38 for this weekend.
