What to Watch: Wednesday

- Goodyear's tire test at Chicagoland Speedway will wrap up today with another day of on-track activity that will start around 10 a.m. ET.

- The remainder of the NASCAR industry is back at their shops, preparing for this weekend at Talladega. If anything of note breaks, we'll have it for you at Frontstretch.

ARCA Talladega Entry List

For Saturday's 200-mile ARCA race in Talladega, there are 41 teams entered. Gus Dean and Jake Finch are back with Nitro Motorsports, while Sean Corr returns.

Around the World in Motorsports: April 21

- Conquest Racing announced Tuesday that Manny Franco will miss the upcoming Stubhub Monterey Sportscar Championship at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca. The only reasoning given is that he is "unavailable" for the race.

The team has tapped Lorenzo Patrese, son of Riccardo, to make his IMSA sprint race debut. He currently serves as the team's third driver for the Michelin Endurance Cup races.

"It's an amazing opportunity to race at such a legendary track," Patrese stated. "I’m excited to get started and very happy to be back with the team sooner than expected. Albert and I make a strong pairing for this race, and I’m really looking forward to the weekend."

- Andretti Performance will return to IMSA later on this season. They will race in two Michelin Pilot Challenge races with a Porsche Cayman GT4 RS CS with Jarett Andretti and Gabby Chaves driving. The duo will debut their No. 43 Porsche at Laguna Seca.

The team has competed in IMSA before, but has been off the track since the end of 2024. Back then, they were competing in GTD with a Porsche 911 GT3 R. Andretti and Chaves were teammates at that point.
