- World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series teams are at Illinois' Jacksonville Speedway tonight for the Hy-Vee Perks 40. This race was originally scheduled for Tuesday night, but was pushed back a couple of nights due to rain. Coverage will begin on DirtVision starting at 7:15 p.m. ET. - NASCAR teams are putting the finishing touches on their cars before making the short trip to Charlotte Motor Speedway. IndyCar teams are brainstorming ahead of Carb Day. If anything of note breaks, we'll have it for you at Frontstretch.

| Kyle Busch Hospitalized; Austin Hill Filling In at
Charlotte
Richard Childress Racing announced Thursday morning that Kyle Busch will miss this weekend's Coca-Cola 600 after being hospitalized with an undisclosed illness.

Around the World in Motorsports: May 20-21 |
- Hyak Motorsports announced Wednesday that they have a
new sponsor in Clemco, a manufacturer of abrasive blasting solutions. They will serve as the primary sponsor of Ricky Stenhouse Jr.'s No. 47 Chevrolet at EchoPark Speedway in July and World Wide Technology Raceway in September. - Daytona International Speedway announced a full-fledged replacement of their track lighting system Thursday
morning. The track will move away from the elaborate lighting system that was installed in the winter of 1997-1998 to a brand-new Musco LED lighting system. There will also be accent lighting on track light poles that will be synchronized to the caution lights. Preliminary work is already underway on the project. It will be completed in time for next year's Rolex 24 at Daytona.
