- The Interstate Batteries High Limit Sprint Car Series was at Eagle Raceway for the Eagle Nationals. A mix of High Limit and World of Outlaws teams traveled to Nebraska for the 40-lap race.
Rico Abreu was able to beat David Gravel to the lead on the first lap and led all 40 circuits to take
the win and a check for $55,555. Meanwhile, points leader Aaron Reutzel lost a wheel on lap 12 and finished 26th.
Abreu won by 2.148 seconds over Gravel. Garet Williamson was third, then Sheldon Haudenschild and Buddy Kofoid.
Reutzel's issues allowed Abreu to take
back the points lead by 39 over Reutzel. Giovanni Scelzi is third, then Tanner Thorson and Justin Peck.
- The World of Outlaws announced Tuesday that the World of Outlaw NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series Pure Michigan Showdown at Hartford Speedway, originally scheduled for last Friday, will now be run on July 9. The race was postponed due to severe weather in the vicinity.
