Chase Briscoe used an alternate pit strategy Thursday night, but was still in position to pull out a win in the Shady Rays
200. He came home second and maintained the points lead. However, Noah Gragson won the first two stages before smacking the wall coming to the white flag and finishing 11th. Despite that, Gragson cut Briscoe's lead from 21 points to 16. Austin Cindric's first Xfinity Series victory on an oval moved him up to third in points. Cindric jumped over Ross Chastain, who finished third despite an incident with Brett Moffitt. He also gained points
on Briscoe.
Justin Haley remains in fifth after finishing in seventh. Justin Allgaier also remains in sixth after crashing on the final lap and finishing 20th.
Harrison Burton spun late and finished 17th, keeping him in seventh. Michael Annett is up one place to eighth after finishing fifth.
Brandon Jones crashed out on the first lap for the second time in three races. He's down to ninth in points as a result. Ryan Sieg remains in 10th after
finishing ninth. Riley Herbst remains in 11th despite equaling his career-best with a second-place finish. Myatt Snider moves back up to 12th after finishing 15th.
Snider is now the last driver in the playoffs. His margin over 13th-place Brandon Brown is four points. Brown crashed Thursday night after contact from Haley and finished 27th. Alex Labbe is up one place to 14th after a mediocre run to
24th. Jeremy Clements is now 15th, while the idle Daniel Hemric drops to 16th.
