Bob Leavine Selling Leavine Family Racing

Bob Leavine announced Tuesday that he has sold Leavine Family Racing to an unidentified suitor. The team will continue to operate as normal until the end of the season.

Indianapolis 500 Will Be Run Without Fans After All

Roger Penske and INDYCAR announced Tuesday that the upcoming Indianapolis 500 will be run behind closed doors. The state of Indiana has not reopened enough to allow for the 25% capacity that the track originally promised.

Phil Surgen Named Crew Chief for Matt Kenseth

Chip Ganassi Racing announced Tuesday that Chad Johnston has been relieved of his duties as crew chief of the No. 42 Chevrolet. He will be replaced starting this weekend by Phil Surgen.

Entry Lists: 2020 Firekeepers Casino 400 & Consumers Energy 400

For both of the Cup races this weekend at Michigan International Speedway, there are 39 cars entered. The Spire Motorsports entry has been re-numbered to No. 74 in order to promote a new Netflix series starring Kevin James.

Alex Labbe Fined After Daytona Test, Clint Bowyer’s Crew Chief Suspended for 1 Race After New Hampshire

NASCAR takes a dim view of contravening the testing policy. As a result, they have come down hard on DGM Racing for their test in Daytona. Alex Labbe has been docked 75 points, while car owner Mario Gossellin has been fined $75,000. In addition, multiple loose lugnuts has resulted in the suspension of Johnny Klausmeier.
