- Sunday night saw BimmerWorld Racing's Devin Jones give a personal update on his condition and even more context on his crash Saturday at VIRginia
International Raceway. He did in fact roll his BMW M4 GT4 out of the park and ended up coming to rest upside down. He suffered a broken back and broken arm in the crash and is still currently hospitalized.
- Kyle Larson continued to take names last weekend on the dirt, winning Friday and Saturday night in the World of Outlaws NoS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series in North Dakota. He followed that up by winning the Hoosier Hundred in a USAC Silver Crown car at the Indiana State
Fairgrounds.

- Today, NASCAR is starting a two-day test session at Dover International Speedway for the new NextGen car that is scheduled to debut in 2022. Cole Custer will be driving.
- Entry lists should be released at some point today or tomorrow. If the lists are released, we'll have them for you. If not, we'll have anything else that breaks for you at Frontstretch.

Denny Hamlin led 115 laps Saturday and swept all three stages to win the Drydene 311 No. 1, his sixth win of the season. Martin
Truex Jr. was second, while Kyle Busch completed a Joe Gibbs Racing 1-2-3. Kevin Harvick and Chase Elliott were fourth and fifth, respectively.

Seeking the NASCAR Cup Series Playoffs: Kevin Harvick Clinches Regular Season Championship

Kevin Harvick had another excellent weekend in Dover, finishing fourth on Saturday and winning Sunday to clinch the regular season title. He expanded his lead over Denny
Hamlin to 134 points. Hamlin dominated Saturday's race, but had a loose wheel and had to make an unscheduled stop under green Sunday, which dropped him to a 19th-place finish. Brad Keselowski remains in third after a pair of top 10 finishes. Martin Truex Jr. is up three places to fourth after finishing second in both races.
Joey Logano is up one place to fifth after finishing second on Sunday. Ryan Blaney is down to sixth after struggling to finish 14th Saturday and 12th Sunday. Chase
Elliott dropped to seventh after finishing fifth Saturday, but crashing out in the opening laps Sunday. Aric Almirola remains in eighth after a mediocre 17th Saturday and a seventh-place finish Sunday.
Kyle Busch is back up to ninth after finishing third on Saturday and recovering from damage to finish 11th Sunday. Kurt Busch is 10th after crashing out early and finishing
40th on Saturday. Clint Bowyer remains in 11th after finishes of sixth and 16th. Alex Bowman is 12th after finishing fifth Sunday in a backup car.
Matt DiBenedetto struggled all weekend and lost a bunch of ground to his fellow competitors after finishing 20th and 17th. William Byron is still the last man in the playoffs
on points after finishing 28th and fourth. Byron is four points ahead of teammate Jimmie Johnson, who finished seventh and third in Dover. Erik Jones is still in 16th, but 50 points behind Byron.
Beyond Jones, anyone else that wants in on the playoffs would need to win Saturday night in Daytona. Tyler Reddick is 17th after finishes of 13th and 18th. Austin Dillon remains in 18th after finishes of ninth and 15th.
Cole Custer is up one place to 19th, while Christopher Bell is 20th.

Seeking the Xfinity Series Playoffs: Austin Cindric Stretches Podium Streak to 8 Races, Expands Lead

Austin Cindric did not win either of last weekend's races in Dover. However, he was right there in the hunt
both days. With finishes of second and third, Cindric was able to expand his points lead to 62 over Chase Briscoe. Briscoe crashed Saturday, but recovered to finish 10th. In a backup car Sunday, Briscoe claimed his sixth win of the year. Noah Gragson remains in third after finishes of fourth and sixth. Ross Chastain is still fourth and made a slight gain on Cindric after finishing third and second.
Justin Allgaier is up two places to fifth after winning on Saturday and finishing seventh on Sunday. Harrison
Burton is sixth after posting finishes of fifth and 11th. Justin Haley is down to seventh after posting finishes of eighth and 12th. Michael Annett remains in eighth after posting two top 10 finishes.
Brandon Jones is now one point behind Annett in ninth after finishes of 16th and fourth. Riley Herbst is up
one place to 10th after posting finishes of ninth and sixth. Ryan Sieg is back down to 11th after finishes of 12th and 14th. Brandon Brown is still the final driver in the playoffs after finishes of 14th and 16th.
Brown's margin to 13th-place Jeremy Clements increased to 31 points over the weekend. Clements finished 13th Saturday, but 19th Sunday. Myatt Snider is still 14th, while Alex Labbe is 15th.
Daniel Hemric moved back up to 16th after finishing fifth Sunday.

Seeking the Gander RV & Outdoors Truck Series Playoffs: Austin Hill Continues to Lead After Top 10 Finish

Austin Hill won a stage Friday afternoon, then dropped to an eighth-place finish. That was good enough to keep
the points lead, but he lost of his advantage over new second-place man Zane Smith. The margin is back down to 41 points after Smith claimed his second win of the year. Brett Moffitt is down one place to third, but also gained points on Hill. Christian Eckes and Ben Rhodes are now tied for fourth. Eckes finished 11th to Rhodes' fifth, but scored more stage points.
Sheldon Creed is still in sixth despite getting caught up in an incident that wasn't of his own making. He ended up
finishing four laps down in 22nd. Matt Crafton is still seventh after finishing second. Grant Enfinger remains in eighth after a mediocre run to 13th.
Tyler Ankrum made a one-point gain on Hill and maintains the ninth spot, while Todd Gilliland finished fourth and
keeps the final spot in the playoffs. Gilliland has a four-point lead over Derek Kraus, who finished 10th. Tanner Gray is 12th, but is 63 points behind Gilliland. He'll have to win in order to make the playoffs.
Johnny Sauter is up one place to 13th after finishing sixth Friday. Sauter jumped over Raphael Lessard, who
struggled to finish two laps down in 19th. Stewart Friesen finished ninth despite a late spin to hold onto 15th, while Ty Majeski is 16th.

"Really, I think if [Aric Almirola] car just wasn’t pinning me on the bottom and running me up, it would have been fine. Every time I tried to move up and get some air on my car, he would just
slide up in front of me like an idiot. He’s the reason we lost the lead, but at the end we just weren’t good enough. I thought the 11 (Denny Hamlin) was better than us all day long. We got the lead there in the pits and was able to use clean air to our advantage. I was never happy with the car all day long. The SiriusXM Camry was fast, but the balance was all over the place. It was firing off tight and getting loose on long runs. At the end, just nothing I could do. It was out of control,

"I mean, [the contact] hurt it. First off, I want to apologize to Kurt (Busch) and the whole 1 team. I got into him on lap 1 or 2. That’s my mistake. I got tight and it ended their day really
quick. I feel bad. I’ve raced with Kurt now awhile, and we have never had an issue and raced really well, so I want to say sorry to him first. Our day was kind of tough from then on, we had to cut the left rear quarter-panel off after that and I think that hurt our balance a little bit. When you have that kind of speed you try to keep the band together and keep them motivated and something you can do as a driver quite honestly it comes down to the team and management in the company that you drive for and the crew chief. Especially in these latest of times, shoot, I haven’t seen my team but for a few minutes here and there every weekend so there isn’t
much I am going to do to lead them and guide them because of the environment. Fast cars go fast. When you have a fast car and you are experienced you show up and try not to mess it up. You try to execute your perfect day. Restarts, getting out of the box, trying to give the feedback to make the car better throughout the race, you know. "We had a good day at Dover International Speedway in the Dow Coatings Chevrolet, and that shows just how hard we all work at RCR. It feels good to come out of the Monster Mile with two solid runs. We started the race
too free. A pit stop for right-side tires definitely tightened me up, but it went back at the end of the run, and I was just sliding around out there to end Stage 1. Our Chevy definitely had speed today, it was just too loose to do anything with it during portions of the race. Justin Alexander and all of the guys on the team did a good job at making adjustments. Towards the middle of the race we were knocking off some of the fastest lap times of the field. We went four-wide to make a pass and I
got a little damage to my right-front, which made our No. 3 Dow Coatings Chevrolet really tight. It was still fast, though. I’m proud of a top-10 finish. We probably could have gotten a few more spots on that last restart, but the No. 2 car did a good job and had a good run. It was fun out there this weekend, and I want to thank everyone at Dow and Behr for their support." - Austin Dillon, finished ninth
"Dover killed us. We were pretty horrendous both days. I just tried to make the most of it that we could and it just wasn’t much. It was the perfect storm of really losing a lot of points and having a rough weekend.
Going to Daytona. I hate to be negative but if we were going somewhere else I would feel better about it because we have been pretty strong at most tracks aside from here. I have struggled here. Going to Daytona and the Ford’s are strong but I have ended up at the infield care center the last two years there. We keep getting caught up in everyones mess. I am going to sit and hope and pray all week that we can just come out of there clean and make the playoffs. We shouldn’t be this close to the
bubble. It is frustrating. A couple weeks messed us up. Getting wiped out at Texas and Kansas and then really hurt us points wise and then we come here and really hurt ourselves here. It has been a tough go of circumstances and going to Daytona is going to make it quite an uncomfortable week." - Matt DiBenedetto, finished 17th
