- Trackhouse Racing Team announced
Monday that Daniel Suarez will race a special No. 97 Chevrolet in this week's eNASCAR iRacing Pro Invitational race at the virtual Talladega Superspeedway. Suarez's car will have a special Red Farmer throwback scheme.

- Today, Goodyear begins a two-day tire test at Nashville
Superspeedway, where more work will be done ahead of the Ally 400. Wear was quite pronounced during the initial test earlier this year. More on that below.
- Back at the shops, teams are continuing to prepare for this weekend's action in
Talladega. We'll have anything else that breaks for you at Frontstretch.

For Sunday's GEICO 500 at Talladega, there are 40 cars entered. Harrison Burton will make his Cup debut for Gaunt Brothers Racing, while Kaz Grala returns. Jennifer Jo Cobb was originally entered in Rick Ware
Racing's No. 15, but NASCAR has refused to approve her for the race.

Test
NASCAR is returning to Nashville Superspeedway this week to hold a second two-day tire test to validate tire compounds for next month's Ally 400. Kurt Busch, Christopher Bell and Chase Briscoe will
drive.

Saturday's 300-mile Xfinity Series race at Talladega has 43 teams entered. Jordan Anderson, Andy Lally and Ronnie Bassett Jr. have been excluded. Jason White will drive for MBM Motorsports in their No. 13
with A-Game Energy sponsorship, while Natalie Decker returns to the No. 23.

Darlington
Kickin' The Tires is reporting that current ARCA Menards Series racer Corey Heim will make his Camping World Truck Series debut at Talladega in Kyle Busch Motorsports' No. 51 Toyota.
